Will eg shocks fit an ef?

let's see I THINK springs are interchangeable because I see 88-00 when people sell springs/coilovers. my friend put EG front forks on his EF hatch and they fit perfectly...so i'm guessing the shocks & springs will fit on there as well. not sure about rear shocks.

im doing the opposite... i have crx struts on my eg... stock ef struts are about an inch shorter than a stock eg strut... and if you have aftermarket then they are even shorter... if you use a shorter strut on a substantially lowered car it compensates for the drop so you will retain most of your suspension travel... and there isnt much weight difference between an ef and eg so i dont think it has any effect on ride quality
