will a dx man. tranny fit into a 90' CRX HF?

I have a friend with a 90' CRX HF 1.5 SOHC. Will a 94' DX man tranny work in his car, possible? Thanks for any insight guys!

don't think so 90 was a cable trans and 94 was a hydro trans.

well I know they make kits for converting it, or is it so a cable tranny will go into a hydro tranny car?

kit is to go cable in hydro car but i think that's b-series only anyways.
