I didn't ask if a DA the "steering wheel" would fit...i asked if a "aftermarket" (meaning not stock steering wheel) that's made for a DA would fit an EG. I know it's possible that it would fit if the stock wheel fit an eg...but i need to be certain.

He answered your question, you need to read into it more. If he used a DA steering on his EG that would prove that the DA steering wheel spindle is compatible with an EG hub. Thus proving that an aftermarket DA hub would work with an EG spindle since it was originally meant for a DA.

Just to back up what JDM-EJ1 said, if the OEM DA steering wheel fits on an EG, then the two models use compatible parts.
If you want to be certain that your aftermarket DA steering wheel will fit on an EG (a legitimate worry, some manufacturers have ****-poor fitment) - you need to post the make & model, so someone with that wheel can chime in with the certainty you're asking for.

My brother and I have both bought Tekniq systems for our cars, we love them and they fit great. Maybe sometime we'll try swapping them to put an end to this thread.
However, as posted; it looks like someones friend already did this and it does work.
