i searched but couldn't find anything specific on y7 block and z6 head. Everything should drop in like a y8 head then?

Not quite! You need Z6 headbolts, your stock ones are a different length. Also your Y7 distributor mounts will have to be modified to fit the Z6 head, or get a Z6 distributor and change the internals so you have the OBD2 connector. Definitely get rid of that lame Y7 intake manifold!

What ECU do you plan to use?

ECU will come from a EX from the junk yard, but i'm not really sure any help is appreciated. Couldn't i just get a wiring kit that makes obd2 to obd1? Oh and Vitara pistons and Scat rods will probably be going in this.

Yes, get a P28 ecu from a 92-95 EX or Si, & an OBD1 conversion harness for your year car (your sig says 2000? then it's OBD2b) Some minor wiring harness mods and your set.
