Leave the shift forks alone. You don't need to change them...the other guy was just pointing out how they're different.

The whole thing is a bolt on, no worries affair. Just throw it in there and it will bolt itself in. It's that easy.

I think the gear ratios are actually different, though. IIRC, the Z6 trans from the 92-95 Si had lower gearing overall. The trans from the EXes should be all the same, though. I'm almost positive...but correct me if I'm wrong.

BTW, they made a D16Y8 LSD trans?!

Its probably a jdm D15b lsd transmission.

I tried looking for one for a year, never came up the moment i went B series found 2 .

Honda never released a lsd transmissoin from 96-00 for d series .Or so said a freind that works at honda and looked it up for me.

It says that it has a OBX LSD installed into it. It's an aftermarket LSD. They never came factory with LSDs.

BTW, unless that guy really knew what he was doing, that trans might malfunction later. I know that it's pretty straight forward to dissassemble/reassemble a trans with a good manual...but still. There are a lot of things that could have been screwed up. Sucks that you can't test drive the car to make sure the trans works.
