All 92 - 95 Civics have an 11.9 gallon tank EXCEPT for the CX and VX hatchbacks which have 10 gallon tanks.
I'd like the smaller tank.
Will it fit on my 95 civic ex no problems?

I assure you that worrying about that tiny amount of weight savings and having a subwoofer are not in the same ballpark.
2 gallons of fuel (~6.3lbs/gal) and minimal sheet metal is not worth the time of a tank swap just for weight savings.
Especially since you can simply put less fuel in the existing tank to get the same result.
make the subwoofer removable and you'll be miles ahead.
Now, if you have an issue with your tank and the only one you can find is the smaller one, then fine, go for it.

If subwoofer = too big, maybe time to get smaller subwoofer?
