not sure about the boot, but the **** fits. I'm using a CB7 **** myself... really like the feel and height of it compared to other Honda *****. And, with a little modification, it looks like OEM only much better.

To make it work with a Civic boot, you'll have to trim the tabs off the bottom of the ****. Takes about 5 minutes with a snips or a dremel.

If your stock civic boot isn't sitting high enough on your short shifter, there's a very easy fix. Take some plastic twisty ties from some bread wrappers or something and wrap them around the shifter underneath the boot where you want the boot to go. It'll hold the boot up in the proper location.

Crap man, now I'm gonna have to take a picture to show you.

**** will, boot...well never heard of anyone trying it, but just try it out yourself. Take the shift boots out and compare them...but I sorta doubt it. Nothing a little fabbing can't cure. THe twist tie idea is golden for making your shift boot sit proper. Take twist tie, tie it at the height you want he collar of the boot to sit, re-install, done.

It's simple.

1. Take your center console out with the **** and the shift boot.

2. Now you should see your bare naked shifter.

3. Reintall your **** onto the naked shifter.

4. Put a ziptie or a twist tie at where you want the top shift boot collar to sit.

5. Ziptie it at that height.

6. Take **** off and reinstall everything.

The point of the ziptie is to prevent the collar from slipping down. It's pretty self explanatory once you get out and do it yourself. As far as the shift boot, I dont' think it'll fit, but another shift boot is like 15-$30. It's not too expensive.

oh yea i get it. the shaft is tapered so the ziptie wont slide down. but then the only problem after that is that the cb7 **** has clips and is fat at the bottom, but the boot comes to a small tip.
ill have to get one and try it out. ill post pictures when its done.
