Hi i have a 2000 civic Si i have the stock motor witch is the b16 i was wondering if i could switch the tranny to a gsr tranny or the type r tranny would i feel a different response in the car and if lets just say i decide to go wit the type r tranny witch is a 6 speed is it gonna affect my motor...

GSR tranny will hurt your performance. The ITR tranny is just like the B16 tranny but with LSD. So, only the LSD added performance. Oh, it's 5 speed.

if you want a 6 speed its time for a K swap.

oh ok thank and i was also wondering i wanted to turbo my car but i was wonder wat i should be boosting at and i was thinking of getting the greddy kit cuz its carb legal....

i think you need to read a little bit more before you turbo. if you did not know a B series tranny was a 5 speed.

if u plan on going boost. id use the 96 spec itr lsd tranny w/ 4.4 final .. id also do some bolt ons before you go boost..
