Default Will A B16a2 fit in my 97 civic !!! PLEASE HELP

I am looking to see if a b16a1 or a2 will fit in my 97 civic coupe, it currently has a d16 engine in it i just need to know if i have to change mounts, shift linkage, half shafts, or what i have to change, i already know that i will have to swap ecu and wiring harness, but what else will i have to swap, and if someone has a b16 that they are wanting to sell

WOW. see that BRIGHT *** RED thing in the top corner that says 'search'. Look at the top of the forum even and it will say 'what swaps are available for my civic'.

like the sig, all motor sohc...from the looks of your post you MIGHT have a i/h/e and your braggin on all motor.

Buddy... people have been doing B16 swaps since the scene got started. Lack of response should tell you that people want you to do a search. My 10 year old could do 90% of this swap.

b-series motors are all dohc, while the d-series motors are all sohc. Because of this, you can't use a d-series motor on a b-series engine. So, yes, you'll need to swap the mounts, axles, ecu, transmission, and all that fun stuff.

No, its never been done. They put a itr motor in a mini, but never a b16a2 into a 97 civic. Ever.
