Will automatic y8 harness work with a manual y8 ecu?
My cuz gave me a y8 harness but i jus realize its for an auto. I am doin a y8 head on a y7 block manual. i would like to kno if it will work without throw a code.

The harness will not cause a car to throw a CEL, as long as you are running the proper ecu you will be fine. HOWEVER, you will need to change some things on that harness to accommodate the proper plugs and sensors for your application. Is the harness OBD2a or OBD2b? Does that match your ecu? Look on here for people who have done auto to manual swaps and see how they adapted their auto harness to work.
