Will a 99' civic stereo work in my 2000 Civic?
Hey guys! My good stereo was stolen out of my 2000 civic so now i'm just going to get a factory am/fm player and use my ipod. Does anyone know if a '99 stock honda am/fm player will work in a 2000 civic?
Let me know.
Thanks,
Zac

did they steal/cut your stock plug? because the stock plug just plugs into the factory radio. the harness you posted before is meant for an aftermarket cd player. If you don't still have your factory harness then you will need to get one from a 99-00 civic out of a junkyard.

Well, the stereo I bought didn't have any wiring harness on it, just the stereo. My car does have the wiring harness but it will not plug into the new unit.

OH, well ask a MOD, (RiceyMcRicerton, or BauleyCivic or B18C5_EH2) to have this moved to audio forum, I am sure someone in there can help you with your situation. Sorry I couldn't really be of any help.
