Will a 99-00 SiR/B16A2 header (for you US peeps, SI) fit on a GSR/B18C
As the title says...
I've heard that the B16A2 header will fit on a B18C (94-99 GSR). its this true or not?

I'm pretty sure it bolts up to the head fine, but I'm not sure on the clearance with the bottom

Nope won't fit.
You can put a header from a B18C1 onto a B16A2, but you cannot put a B16A2 header onto a B18C.
The reason: B18C1 header is taller than the B16A2 header. Make sense to you now?

are we talking about aftermarket or stock?
I was 100% sure both would bolt on properly without clearance issues but the GSR would hang lower.

this would be an aftermarket header...
do you any of you guys know if the type-R header will directly bolt on to the stock EG cat?

so what kind of header can i get that will directly bolt on to the GSR head and the stock EG cat? is there one out there or will i have to customize my hole exhaust system again?

If a header that accomplished this exists I am not aware of it. Would have to be some kind of hybrid header. Why would you want to use the stock EG cat anyway?
