I got these 97 4 dr side skirts for cheap today. dude didnt know what they were for. They arent lining up right, atleast the back isnt, so for a fact theyre 4 dr skirts. wanting to know if anyone ever "custom" fit em? info. would be great

i have read that they will fit but the door opening's are going to be messed up but only visible when the doors are open

anyone else tried putting ek 4dr sideskirts on coupe? any suggestions, opinions?

i know that the hatch and the 4dr are different, i had to trim the 4dr to fit my del sol, then i messed one up and had to cut a hatch one and noticed i had more left over.

anyway i got the skirts, i tried putting them on. However, the front fit goods but the towards the back side it doesnt insert right. maybe i gotta cut some of the top piece so it can actually insert flushly or near. ill just have to figure out how its gonna stay without fallin. since clips wont line up either...

Are you sure about there is a length difference? Measure the sideskirts and I'll measure mine ( I have an EJ8 Coupe) and see if there is a difference.

i'm not a hundred percent sure, but the only difference from the hatch/coupe to the sedan is the little flare it has at the back end. it should line up fine.

im trying to do it as were typing.. the back doesnt insert at all. the clips dont line up in the ek coupe chassis. might need to drill some holes behind the skirt.

anyone bought a set of 4dr skirts for their coupe before? and got it to work with a decent look? did u cut the top part a lil to make it insert in the back? info is needed and appreciated. ty

i noticed. but hey i mean nobody ever had lets say 96-00 coupe project shell and bought side skirts and didnt fit? or u bought 4 dr skirts cuz you got a deal or free. did you ever try to make them fit? i might know how to make them insert in the back but i dont wanna mess with it, unless atleast someone did something similiar..
