I know the engine in a CRX is a D15A3

The wiring won't plug up. You'd have to put the 87 plug on it. This is if the alt bolted up.

so the 87 crx plug will plug into the 92-95 civic alternator?

No, I mean if the alt bolts up. You will have to use the 92-95 plug instead of the 87 plug.
