Will 5 speed CRX components work with automatic EG Civic?
I'm tired of my automatic civic and my crx is pretty much done for. I was wondering could I take the 5 speed swap out and swap it over to my automatic 94 civic? If it does what all would I need from the crx? Thanks in advance

i'm with you on the philosophy of using what you've got to get what you want... (haha, that could be bad out of context..) but in your case you'll have more work and headaches than it's worth i suspect.
it's becoming more common for guys to convert autos to manuals. it makes sense when you can get good parts cheap and do all the work yourself, but only if you are swapping like with like.
sure the CRX trans will drop in and bolt up to your D15B7 or D16Z6 with little trouble.. but what makes it more work (and maybe not worth the hassle) is that 92 and newer civics use a hydro clutch system where as the CRX has a cable clutch. (IIRC, there may also be a trick to getting the right clutch disc/pressure plate combo due to a difference in the spline count of the input shaft) maybe a good project for an R&D team at an aftermarket parts producer, maybe not so good for a low budget do-it-yourselfer.
try selling or trading the CRX trans for a compatible hydro trans if you still want a 5spd in the '94. best of luck

Well first of all you planning on swaping a OBD0 motor to an OBD1 car. which means new dizzy, ecu, injectors(unless you run a resistor box), and tranny cause the rex is cable cluch, you can get away with using the axels if you use the halfshaft. anyway you should search for auto to 5 speed swaps before you decide to do this cause it's not simple as just swaping the motor over your going to have to disassemble the auto shifter and cut the hole to fit a 5 speed shifter.

Yeah I'm not swapping the whole motor out just curious as to if the crx goodies would work. Thanks for the help btw and what about if I just get the trans? Would the rest of the stuff work with the civic? (i.e. pedals, shift linkage, mounts, etc.) Thanks!
