Re: Will 1992 Civic Radio Fit into 96 civic ex (Rainy City)
it wont plug in and it wont fit right, you can make it work but its kinda stupid.
edit: per ERAN the great.
it will plug in to the factory harness, but it wont fit where the stock radio goes, you will have to relocate it down where the cupholders are.

It WILL fit down by the cupholders (if you remove the pocket), and it WILL plug in directly.
Please refrain from posting if you don't know what you're talking about.

He didn't ask if it'd fit in any hole at all. He just wanted to know about the plug. And while MANY Honda's changed to the blue plug in 1998, the Civics did not. They changed in 1999.

i dont care enough to keep arguing with you, but where is the "plug" located? why would you think he wants to put it down below?
but here you go ill tell you what you want to hear;
your so great, you know wo much about hondas that you browse the threads everynight hoping to find posts where you can say "please refrain from posting when you dont know what your talking about". your such a genious, id give anything to be able to find errors in someones post like you do. you must feel so great about yourself.
i think a simple, yes it will plug in, and the only place it will fit is near the cupholders would have worked just fine. but you have to really show how cool you are and tell people not to post when they dont know something.

You read way too much into things. You posted a 100% incorrect answer. I corrected you, and politely asked you to refrain from posting misinformation. It's a disease that has infected this site -- and continues to do so more and more each day.
If you get so hung up when your incorrect answers are corrected, then start researching before you post. Why do you think I lurked here for three years before I even started posting? I was too busy reading.
If vilifying me is what helps you cope, then by all means, use me as a punching bag. I can take it. All I ask in return is you keep quiet when it comes to things you don't know. If you do have the correct information, then share away. If not, shut up.
