13's on EX's WILL NOT fit. they do not clear the calipers. I've tried putting my 13" VX wheels on various friends' cars and they didn't clear the calipers.

Pretty sure the 13's aren't going to clear the EX calipers (larger than DX ones). I believe 14" HX's don't even clear EX calipers.

Why does everyone keep mentioning EX brakes? He's asking about an EK. Last I checked that's a hatch....and they never came with 10.4" brakes from 96-00

problem is everyone gets used to calling the 96-00 chaissis EK...so people just start making up posts on all different models of that generation
get used it and start filitering out what you dont want/need
DX has smaller front brakes than the ex/si so they should fit
