Will 13" steelies from a 93 Civic fit on a 98 Civic?
I need to know ASAP. While driving at work tonight, I hit a 12 inch slab of broken concrete that was sticking up from the street. I pulled over and saw that one of my tires was completely flat and riding on the rim. Since it was a mile away from home, and I didn't have a spare with me, I just slowly drove home, because the 93 Civic I had bought recently came with a full set of stock steelies. I assumed they were 14" wheels, but when I went to get one they were 13". Since it is pouring out (of course, right?) I don't want to sit out there and change the wheel only to find out it won't fit on my EJ8. Does anybody know if the stock 13" steelies from a 92-95 will fit on a 96-00? I know from experience that wheels from an EF/CRX won't fit on a DA, even though they're the same size.

A 13" rim will fit as long as it is not an civic EX. on an EX it wont clear the Brake caliper.

Are you sure it will clear the drum or caliper? The threads and everything lined up when I went to put CRX Si wheels on my DA, but they didn't clear the caliper...

Ok, that's not the only problem I have. The wheel won't come off the hub. I tried kicking the edges of the wheel about as hard as I can, and pounded on the edges all the way around with a bat. It still won't budge.

That's happened to me. I just went to a tire place and payed $10 for a tire rotation. Done!. It even works better if you bought your tires from a place that has free tire rotations with your purchase.

get a hammer and a wood block, put the wood against the rim, and beat it with a hammer till the rim pops off. should only take 1 or 2 good hits.

I got it eventually after I put PB blaster in where the studs are, and then hammered it with a mallet. It came off after that, I think it rusted on there lol. If you have a 14" steelie with a halfway decent tire on there I'll pick it up from you for cheap. This tire has a 2" hole in it from the concrete
BTW the 13" wheel fit on the back hub just fine, no extra rolling resistance at all
