Wild idle on civic please help
I know the first thing everyone will say think is search the forums i know theres a million things out there on this topic and none have helped me so i turned here for yur help so on that note heres my problem.
I have a 2000 honda civic 1.6 vtec with greddy turbo running a small 4.5 psi boost. The problem is my idle is driving me nuts it revs up and down wildly at idle then other times it will stall out at the stop light and then when i pull out of my driveway it surges or stumbles and falls on its face until i floor it then it kinda stumbles and resumes.
Ive changed the IACV,TPS,and calibrated both changed PCV, checked all fuel injectors with multimeter.
Ive read thread after thread and none of these fixes help me all i can find is people with the same problem and no answres
Edit note: i have a boost gauge witch reads -20 21 vacum at idle and ive checked and tested anyway and there is no vacum leaks

Re: Wild idle on civic please help
you probably didnt replace the IACV correctly. what you need to do is when u replace it.
1. start the car and let it warm up to operating temp.
2. unplug IACV car will idle lower.
3. adjust idle screww on TB
4.turn off car.
5. plug back in IACV
6. Reset ECM by FUSE!!!
7. start vehicle.
vehicle should idle around desired RPM, may take a try or to to get it right
