wierd suspension problem...what could it be?
I have a 96 EK with Neuspeed Sports and Koni Yellows. the springs and shocks are all brand new, only around 2 months old.
The problem is on the passenger side of my car. It seems to be a lot stiffer than the driver's side. What happens is this, when going through uneven roads/bumps, the driver's side goes through the road/bumps smoothly while the passenger side jumps around too much. The Koni yellows are set the same on both side. So I'm guessing a suspension arm might be damaged...any ideas?

Is it stiff on the front AND rear passenger side? Or is it just one corner?
Check your setup on the passenger side and make sure everything was put together properly.
I had that problem before a loong time ago but I can't remember what the hell the problem was...
Make sure your springs/shocks are seated correctly.
Oh yeah, to figure out which corner has the problem, do the bounce test.
I'm betteing you forgot to remove a part from your strut rod (misc. parts vary in diff. shock systems, and i'm not sure what the yellows system includes..)

I would open the door and jump up and down on the door jam while looking to see how much you suspension travels (both frt & rr wheels). Do it to both sides, and I'm sure you'll be able to determine which corner of you suspension is not working.

Both the front and rear passenger side are stiff. What's wierd is, I did the door test, all four corners are working proplerly, the suspension has lot's of travel. The springs are quite soft also, but for some reason on the road the passenger side feels like crap.

wait im sorry, but are you saying that the passenger side is more responsive so it feels like crap compared to the driver which rides smoother????? that does not ake sense to me... if the passenger side has good response and the driver side doesnt then you prolly have blown struts on the driver side.

It's kinda hard to explain...I have Neuspeed Sports (green) and Koni Yellows. The Yellows are set at the softest setting, so naturally when going over uneven road/bumps the ride should be good. The driver side feels good when going over those uneven surfaces, the car doesn't jump around much. But when the passenger side goes through those same surfaces, the car jumps around too much. It's as if the passenger side is very stiff as compared to the driver's side. The shocks are set the same, everything was bought brand new, the setup is only around 2 months old. Like I said I did the bounce test, all four corners feel good, quite soft in fact. But for some reason when the car is on the road the passenger side doesn't feel right.
