Wierd mechanical noise from the front right of my car
As I was driving down the road yesterday I thought I heard a funny noise coming from the front right of my car, so I turned down the radio and the noise never came back. Today, while I was sitting in a parking lot making a phone call to one of my friends I heard the noise again, but this time it didn't go away, so I shut the car off.
So I started it back up, drove to my friend's house to borrow a wrench to clean my IACV (car was idling funny, didn't have a wrench of my own to get the bolts out) Before I took off the IACV I let the car idle for 5 minutes and didn't hear anything.
It didn't sound like a loose belt or something metalic dropping or rubbing. It sounds like an electric motor that's going bad.
It hasn't made the noise since I cleaned the IACV, but it only happened for a minute or two during about 2 or 3 hours of driving between yesterday and today.
Any ideas as to what it could be, or any electric motors in the front right of the car?
BTW, its a 95 ex, bone stock except for a homemade CAI.

your fan on the radiator. That and your distributor rotor. Have you taken your cap off to see if it's ok?

Cap off the radiator or distributor? I've never really messed with anything on the car other than CAI and oil.

I just went outside and popped the hood to check the radiator fan and stuff. Turns out I had a zip tie holding my CAI to keep it from moving around and I never bothered to cut off the excess. It was hitting my radiator fan. on me.
