widest oem steelies

Re: widest oem steelies
this doesn't exactly answer your question but I'm wandering why it has to be oem?... Diamond Racing makes wheels that look just like steelies and they can make them pretty much any offset, any width and any finish you would want. A local guy here just bought some 16x8 15offset polished steelies for his em1. Looks SEXY! The pricing on them is right in line with the likes of Rota or Drag wheels so not expensive at all.

80 isnt cheap for an oem steelie but 80 is cheap for a wide steelie you cant find on an oem vehicle, that's custom made, finished how you want it and turns out like nothing that everyone else is running. Very few people have caught on to the widened steelie thing. I'd pay 80 for a custom made 8inch wide full polish steel wheel before I'd pay 80 for a slipstream that's been seen a million times.

Rick Rabies --- http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/ <--- When I called them I wanted 4x100 16x9 or 15x8 full polish with 34offset. They were going to be my winters and I figured they would have these in stock. They didn't so the price went up to about $100 a wheel maybe a little under because they have to custom make that wheel. I couldn't justify spending that much on winters here in Indiana. Already having a set of summer show off wheels I didn't really need another set of those either. If I could do it over I would have bought these as my summer show offs instead.
Fireblaze --- There is a shop locally here that sells Rotas that cheap for a 15 or 16. That seems like the common price for them. I'm not sure where you've been looking but most places should price them right around there.
this is what a Diamond Racing widened steelie looks like. Granted it's a VW but I'm at work so all the Honda pics are blocked right now. Google diamond racing images and there's a white ek coupe with full polish. basic idea

Re: widest oem steelies
check these guys out, they are a local shop here in Indy and they give great hookups. I'm sure they would ship to someone who isn't local because they do have an Ebay store. If you're not set on the Rota brand you can always get some Drags. They are pretty much the same wheel. I've owned both and there's no visual differences besides the center cap. Obviously they are all knock offs of some very expensive JDM wheels bu it sounds like you can live without spending an obnoxious amount on basically the same look as these. I know you can get the Drags cheaper then the Rotas. These guys usually advertise a 15inch wheel and tire combo package for $599.

2002-2005 civic ex 15inch rim with hub caps 4x100. kinda hard to find. i gave up looking for those i wanted to put my azenis on it (sleeper). you can also go to pick apart and find a 16inch steelie 4x100 from a domestic car.
