wich seats should i get?(pics inside)
Wich seats do you guys think would be most comfortable, fade resistant, last longer, and simply just like better???
corbeau

tom motorsport light weight cf

momo

sparco http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
personaly i like the momo the best, but it only comes with one seat.
Do you guys think its really worth $250 more than the other seats?

None of the links work. If the Corbeau is an A4, I don't recommend it. I had one and hated it with a passion.
If you can't sit in the seats before you buy them, just don't buy them. Nothing sucks worse than having to sit in a seat that isn't comfortable to you.

Sit in each of them first THEN decide. It's pointless to ask us considering we all have different sized frames and of course, personal preferences.

I have never sat in a "racing" seat before but to me it looks uncomfortable for everyday driving. What are your plans for your car? Track? Daily Driver?

Anything you get off of EBay would most likely lack mounting brackets. They say that seat brackets are included, but those are universal mounts. You will have to get special brackets to bolt to the floor of your car; stock ones would not work. At the very least, that was the story with my del Sol.

Really? what makes them cheap? Is the material cheap? Have you sat in them, if so are they comfortable?

Re: wich seats should i get?(pics inside) (CETVTOGEM)
I've had momo seats in the past, the Tframe, and I thought it was an awesome seat. The materials are durable and don't wear too quickly, and I've found that momo are great for comfort. I used my car as a daily driver and had no issues. Actually, my bucket was more comfortable than my stock seats for long distance driving too!
Corbeaus, I've only sat in the Forza. The padding on them wasn't quite as plushy, well comfortable, as the momos.
As most have mentioned here, have a seat in one before purchasing. Each seat, no matter how similar in style, have greatly varying widths.
If anyone here has more to chime in about the Tom Motorsports please do tell.

I have
they have it on display
they modified it so it's on a computer chair legs (it rolls around)
it was comfier then expected, but it's a racing seat, it's suppose to be sturdy, and hold in in place. it felt too soft and cheap.
tom motor sports do not make performance parts, they make ricer parts.
my car came with there adjustable springs and exhaust, ride was shitty as hell, and my fart can annoyed the **** out of me. (i took all that **** off)
but if you go to a shop, toms motor sports is the cheap parts that kids buy cause they don't know any better.
Toms motor sport is APC's competition.
don't waist your money.

What kind of race car is this for? You need to check the rules for whatever you're running in. If it's track / road racing then you'll want something with FIA approval. Otherwise you'll have to put in a seat-back brace. I personally have a Corbeau. The fabric doesn't hold up quite as well as a Sparco but for the money, it's definitely worth it to me. And it's comfortable enough for daily driving. Mine is a Forza. For those of you saying not to get a race seat for daily driving, try it first. Unless you're a stunna who's got the gangsta-lean going on, they can be suprisingly comfortable and much more supportive.
