what is the advantage of having hasport motor mounts? i got a ls motor in my 95 coupe with wore out stock mounts thinkin bout gettin some hasport ones whats the advantage?

I have never used anything but stock. They look of great quality, but the price is out of control.

-They are Polyerothane
-They look flashy
-They will help with certain swaps (Ka,H22)

I personally would not bother. If your car is a street car then there is simply no need. All 5 factory mounts can be had for around

$170 from www.rockauto.com.

If you still desire more stiffness then get the Energy Suspension inserts for

$45 from www.suspension.com

Save your money for when the economy gets really bad....

I've got avid mounts. They have different grades "street" "street/track" and "track" I've got the middle ones. The difference was incredible. Throttle response has greatly increased the motor doesn't move one bit. Was kind of skeptical on throwing down 300 for mounts but I'd definitely do it again. Lifetime warranty also.

They do help with swaps, but there is no combination of stock motor mounts that you can do to swap a k or h-series motors into civics, so your forced to go with aftermarket mounts.

stiffer mounts hold the motor in place better than the oem mounts and they will improve traction. another option available and cheaper is innovative mounts.i have the 60a street version and couldnt be any happier and the vibrations are minimal only at start up other than that i dont see why people cry about the vibrations
