WHy H22a is cheaper than B18C1???
I know this must be a stupid question, but how come the H22A swap is Much much cheaper than the B18C1 swap? Specially since the H22a offers much more power???Does this make sense?
Also: Anyone heard of noyanusa for engine swaps?

Supply and demand. B-series are in more demand then H22A's.

everywhere I look there is a big difference in price between the two complete swaps with the B series being at least 1k more...
Check HMO and others...

[QUOTE]it's cheaper because H series suck
Well, that's just opinion. I personally like the B series swaps more than H22 swaps, but when done properly in a very light car they are beasts..

I always see H22 for a lower price also. I think it is because of the popularity of B series motors, and their ease of installation. The H22 swap seems to be gaining popularity though, maybe we'll see a price increase soon.

1) There is a high demand for B series engines.
2) People are often scared off by the work and research necessary to achieve the h22 swap in a Civic.
3) The lazy people who don't swap in engines themselves don't want to pay high prices for shops putting the h22 into their cars.
So, in conclusion... More people buy the B-series engines...therefore, the prices will be higher (it's about $$$ people).
Well, that's what I think anyways.

Motor itself is cheaper, but with all the bells and whistles...an h22 swap is nearly the same amount as a gsr swap. Correct me if I'm wrong h22 civic owners.
But the h22 civic will kill the gsr civic.

Re: WHy H22a is cheaper than B18C1???
ok..... do the math here..... even if you get the H22a swap for 3 grand, with everything, how much do you think a 3 thousand dollar gsr engine will be after all is said and done???? its 3 grand just for the engine without all the other **** you will need..... do the math.... H22a is cheaper.... if you know what you are doing..
