Why does my engine say 16valve on it?

Why does my engine say 16valve on it?
I thought eg's only came with 8 valves? And there is sign of a collision seeing as tho the whole front bumper is not the stock bumper... WTF!
EDIT: thats what someone told me, but i just looked it up and found that it IS 16 valve
Damn i need a new motor

you're joking right?....if you are SERIOUS, only the CX's came with the 8valve engine.....all other trims came with 16valve sohc engines

dang you got 16 valves!!! you better throw that crap away and get the 8 valve motor and swap it in asap, you'll be kicking some serious *** with that, oh yeah don't forget to add alot of stickers and altezzas for the proven +25 horse power.

Your engine says "16 valve"????? Mine usually only makes a rumble sound from the exhaust. Who would ever have thought of a talking engine.
