Re: is it ok to removal the plastic liner in your wheel well?
^ Lol. I just ordered some new front wheel well linings and splash guard so i could have used them as well. But in all honesty my doors squeak and crunch from the water/dirt that has gotten in there. Also I always get dirt that comes from under my headlight and runs down off my bumper. If i was you I'd keep them. I just spent 300$ trying to get all that stuff back.

Just replace them. It's cheaper than hunting down a good pair in the yard with out it people have access to so many things in you bay plus they can pull your good latch easier

They are there for a reason. If u are so slammed that your tires are ripping them out then im guessing u dont really care either way lol. If ur that low, u need to raise ur ride height or its just gonna happen again if u replace em.

I'd keep em or get new ones. Small rocks and ish are gonna end up in the door jams, headlights and fenders. Helps keep all that clean.

the help prevent what I call reverse dents in your fenders, I have had dents on past civics from the inside from the tires throwing rocks/gravel into the fenders, also like stated before you get dirt in your door jams and by the headlights, unless you are so low that they rip out on their own I would keep them

Without going into detail, removing these makes it 10 times easier for a thief to steal your car. Not to mention the fact that they're there for a reason.
If you can possibly avoid it, I'd recommend not removing them.

About the hood latch, just reroute it through the engine compartment, should be about the first thing you do when modifying a Honda.
I would keep them. They don't barely weigh anything, and as it has been said, keep the fenders, door jams and hinges cleaner and in better shape.

You don't need them. I've had plenty of Hondas, some had them some didn't. I never really noticed a huge difference unless you're driving on muddy/gravely roads. If you're in the city and stick to the main roads/highways these things aren't going to do a whole lot anyways.
I'll leave them in the EF but I don't have any in my EG to make room for charge piping.
