Axle Replacement
I swapped in my B18C last summer and got to thinking. When I put the axles into the diff, did I have to grease the spline? Or does it fit in dry?

Re: Axle Replacement (TeamNextGenChris)
Easy now, Roanoke's a great place!
Thanks, but it went in real easy w/o any grease, but wondering if that will hurt long term???

When I replaced my broken one I didn't put any grease? I'd like to know if it'll hurt long term as well.

it will be fine, just keep it in mind for future use.also,it helps to put a little grease or antiseize on the outer splines that slide into the hub-makes it MUCH easier to remove the axle later on.it makes the difference in having to use an air hammer to get it out,or being able to push it out with your fingers.

That's not a big deal.Just gonna make it a little harder for you.I've personally done at least 25 CV joints and never lubed one. In addition i'm in honda PACT and never did it in there either.
