well, i personally think that we should welcome new comers, only way they are going to learn is for them to ask questions, even if they are somtimes very annoying, just dont answer to their post and someone who really do want to help them will come along and answer it. remember that you were "noobs" once and keep it reeeal.

I don't hate them. I've even asked the same question twice before.. Granted, I felt like an idiot but still, I've done it. But when you post "Why can't I post more than five times a day?" and then proceed to bitch about it for a paragraph.. That bugs me. Also, when people don't use proper english and don't write in sentences that make sense. It still holds true.. If you ask something with respect to the other member's knowledge, you will get a serious non-flame response. First impressions count.

It's the same reason Freshmen get the **** kicked out of them in high school.
We all went through this rite of passage, hazing if you will, to become the leaders that we are today. I don't hate Noobs but if you ask stupid questions then well you know what's coming.

because they are an easy target. maybe people pick on them to boost their own self esteem. maybe they just get annoyed really easy at the common sense questions that everyone "should" know. maybe everyone is just bored. who knows. i agree everyone was a newbie at one point. maybe they are just treating them like how they were treated as a newbie. the endless cycle and $hit...back in high school the seniors would always taunt the freshman tellin em to go home.

No question is stupid. If you don't like the questions, then you do have a choice to click away. If you have nothing good to say, QUIET is the best thing to do. Beside Sept 11 is around the corner so be nice to each others.

We don't hate noobs, we hate how some newbies act though. Most of the members that have been posting for a while kinda know and respect eachother, so when a noob lashes out and calls the other member names, it knida pisses the other older members off. Other than that I love to help noobs.

I dont' hate newbies either, but some of them come with the attitude of a fresh NSX buyer ! Not to offend any NSX drivers if there are any on this board. But you know what attitude I was referring to.
Oh yeah and .. SEARCH !

Re: why do people hate noobs? (skhonda)
no, screw all you haters. I'm sure you all started out knowing everything didn't you? I bet you bought your Honda and you all knew exsactly how everything worked, and all that. Some of you are REALLY cocky. I would bet half of you have put DOHC-VTEC stickers on your SOHCs, and didn't know what did what... nevermind. Why don't you try to help people instead of put them down. You have to remember that they drive honda's and if they are running around thinking VTEC is a 25psi turbo, and they tell everyone that... people are going to start laughing at all of these honda tuners, and tuners everywhere. (kinda like they do now, but more.) I have spent hours, and hours, uncounteable hours on just researching alone, hours, and hours on a dyno, and at least 2800.00 on parts for the motor.. and these honda's can't make good power (all-motor)-- (like a nissan can) ha. Not only that... I sent 16,000 on a EX, 3,500 on mods, wheels, tires and crap.... and it's not even as fast as a sentra SE-R, that costs only 16,000-- comes with wheels, and it's already a quick car (come with some torque too!!!) F hondas, and the cocky tuners.
