Blown HG FTW or is it FTL in this case. The gasket will cost about 50 from any of these places

And labor is all based on where you are located.

At least head gaskets are easy. Buy some ARP studs why you are in there. Dont reuse the head bolts.

Maybe not if you have no experience. When you take the Cams, cam caps, and cam guides out, make sure you keep them in order and dont switch them around. Taking the cams in and out is probally the hardest part.

If you never done any car work yourself don't even think about starting HG job. If you have mechanically inclined friend and manual ... get all necessary parts, 12 pack of good beer and ask your friend to show you how it's done ... In the mean time don't go home and play games but spend all this time asking questions and opening beers for your friend - keep them comming and keep them cold :D

Cylinder head would be the one you want. It might just be cheaper to buy just the headgasket and then maybe a tube of honda bond for your cam seals. Unless your valve cover gasket is damaged then it should be fine.

i just got a diagnosis and it does have to do with the cylinders.
- Cylinders 1,2,3 have a misfire.
- also, manufacture control ignition system misfire..
will a tune up take care of this problem?

i changed the cap, rotor, sparkplugs already. BUT not the plug wires...
does the fuel filter have anything to do with this?
it needs to be replaced anyway..
