who is rocking a single here...
who has owned a twin cam before?....
just curious, lately ive been seeing a **** load of posts for them and just wondering if any of you have had two cams before.. its a wonderful thing.. just kidding. this is not a flame post. i was just curisous if anyone one here is rocking a single cammer because they prefer it? lets here it..oh and what is the appilication of your car too. road race? drag ect..

I love my D16Z6....had plenty of chances to go LS turbo or B16, but I'd rather have my trusty single cam.
Especially when I'm pulling people in the exact same car who swapped out the engine I beat them with

z6in it at this point. Haven't had a dual overhead yet, though some of my friends do. I beat on em with my turbo sohc 
It's a fun motor. I'll try a dohc someday..

i am boosting my single and if it blows up i will get another one for a couple hundred, instead of swaping boosting and then paying another couple grand for another engine.

i'm running the z6 right now i have no complaints i love it, i bought an ls motor couple weeks ago gonna put it in in 2 weeks and boost the sum bitch, can't wait. i'm gonna use the z6 as a back up motor. and build the z6 in the future.

i have had them all....B,H and D series. Sticking with the D's, nothing like being the underdog. Multiple D series projects in the works. Nothing beats seeing a bunch of suprised B series owners getting owned by a SOHC.

Yeah ive gone the way of the y8 myself, bent valves but should have it running strong in a week. Why, well it came with that engine, and like hybridsohc said, fun to be the underdog .
