I'd stick with either Beaks/ITR or Comptech.

Both are basically the same thing. Comptech has a little more bling with it's lower tie bar.
But at the same time, more expensive.

Both are OEM, so you don't have any problem clearing your exhaust..in most cases.

I have a Comptech 22mm rear sway. I am very pleased. I would say either the ITR or Comptech are both good bars.

DC doesn't make a sway bar. You're either thinking of a strut tower bar or lower tie bar.

Comptech swaybar is better because it is adjustable while the beaks are not.

i have an EG..so i'm thinking this will relate to the EK...

will a 14mm GSR differ that much from a 22mm TypeR rear sway?? for better or for worse? cuz peeps here claim too big of a bar isn't the best bet.

As long as you have a bar in the front thats around the size of the bar in the back, you're fine. (that sounded really really really gay)

Like, a 24mm GSR front and an ITR rear would do you just fine.

I use to have the ST kit, after 2 weeks of driving the rear swaybar completely tore out my rear I beam and ran me $1100 to fix...Belive me if you have ever had your Ibeam torn off you will become Ibeam paranoid forever I am using the CTR/Si front swaybar(26mm?) Would there be any added safety if the bar was mounted away from the Ibeam entirely? Like the SRR kit? I am also running 800lb springs in the rear with 950lb in front. Do stiffer springs put less stress on the swaybar or softer springs?

I would guess that softer springs do because they would cause more body roll/chasis flex. I'm probably gonna go with the Comptech myself though.

1mm difference in stabilizer size is a HUGE difference. Poke around the search function for posts about the jdm rear sway bar in the ITR forum. Some guys were buying them, and were being questioned as to why they spent $80 for 1mm bigger. Some equations were made and they figured out how huge of a difference it was.

I would go with OEM, or saner. http://www.sanerperffab.com I think is the url. They make custom bars and I believe they have adjustable endlinks. Mike M has a special for jdm itr 23mm rear sways right now. Check the sticky on the best buys page.

Why then the supposed I beam problems with the ST bar if its a smaller diameter than the 23mm ones? Shotty mounting points or what?
