i have a problem at idle ... my tps sensor was broken during my swap
so i drilled out the old one from my stock motor...
at a certain rpm which is around 1300 rpm.... my motor surges...
i take it i need to replace the whole throttle body... aftermarkets are less expensive that honda oem parts.. jg edlebrock makes then along with a few other companies...
the remainer of my motor is stock... will a slightly larger throttle body increase response or **** everything up
the biggest i've considered has been 62 mmm which isn't to drastic

Larger throttle bodies increase engine response time and will not effect your idle if made properly.

Suggest you look for a used OEM TB. The GSR, H22, and B20 are all 60mm. And will match up to your Intake Manifold.

Also, Some B16's are as well....I am unsure which generation but my guess would be the newest.

Your TB is probably not why it surges. You may have a vacuum leak, or your TPS is not set correctly, or your Fast Idle Control Valve may be messed up/out of wack, or you may have air in your cooling system. There are many variables. But anyway, if you still want to get a new TB, probably a ITR or a JG bored out TB would be best.

alright i'll have to play around and see first if i can improve it

this surging only happened when i give the car a little bit of gas ... its as if there is one postion on the throttle body that the sensor does not read correctly...
