Default white smoke STILL!

i just replaced the head gasket on my B18C1 because it was smokeing white from the exhaust.
and it still is smokeing white smoke
the previous owner said he had to drive it on H for like 10 min and he said the lower radiator hose came off the block because their was no clamp and he had no intake on it also so it probally got some anitfreeze in the intake

i already replaced my water pump and the head gasket
do u think he cooked some gaskets in the intake manifold
running it on H like that
oo ps i didnt get the head milled either
we used a straight edge and it appeared to be straight
HELP HELP please thanks in advance

If he ran it on H for like 10 min. then he probably warped the head surface block. Take the head off and have a shop deck (mill) it, its like $20. That my guess.

the head is either warped of cracked better get ready to shell out more money for another gasket kit. Hell you might as well buy another motor sounds like he probably cooked the rings too

i beleive it would have to be water mixing in with the oil and burning it, water coming up through the intake manifold and going throught the head and it to the block, i think that would be accurate

i dont think you can always visually see a warped head. have you done a compression/leak down test?

You said you checked the head with a straight edge what did it spec out to? did you use feeler gauge in several areas it see how much warp you had? It is possable that you just have a bunch of coolant soaked into the exhaust system. Have you done a compression test yet on all cylinders?

^ like he said you could have coolant left over in teh exhaust.

i know when i blow a head gasket and run thruogh alot of coolant there is a good bit in my exhaust.

I usually have to run it for a week to cook the old coolant out.

ok well i did a compression test before the head gasket and it was 180 across the board and # 1 was like 165

no i havent done a leak down

and i seems to idle alot better now

and my dad replace a head gasket on a sunfire and used a straight edge and u could easily see the warped area

we check mine from many angles and it looked fine

is their any way to clean the exhaust
thanxs

If you read in the shop manual the service spec for head warp service limit is something like .05 of an inch that is so hard to see with the naked eye. hondas also use a metal head gasket so you have less room for forgiveness if its out of spec. That is neither here nore there at this point to get the water out of the exhaust system you will just need to run it for a few miles
