of what white or black smoke? my friends stock b16 del sol would do that at times when we and played around at the round-a-bouts but figured the oil is sloshing around in there too much...lol

I could buy that as a reason. It's mainly when I autox and I don't have an oil pan baffle.

White somke can mean various things.......But my guess would be that the problem lies not in the oil, but in the fuel distribution. White smoke is usually a sign of running to lean. In this case sheck your injectors to see if they may be clogged or do a leakdown test to see if it involves the rings.
Only advice i can give you

You say that because of a small puff of white smoke? If the head gasket was blown you'd know it and it would be a bit worse than a small puff of white smoke.

Re: (Cruiser G)
my coolant levels are good, and the coolant is still the bright green color. i also did a compression test not too long ago and they were all real high. i dont know what else it could be. i mean im leaking oil but its not from burning oil, i have oil coming out of the distributor cap( i know its bad, im changing it out soon)

I am going to assume that you meant coolant, and head gasket, right?

Re: white smoke? (Damon)
I just changed my radiator about a month or so ago. I'm not losing any coolant, my temperature guage ALWAYS sits about 3/8 of the way up and my gas milage rocks. I don't burn any oil either. ???
