Re: white smoke (nub_pwn)
yes white smoke means your burning coolent, end of story, black smoke means your running rich, blue smoke means your burning oil.......if i were you i would do a compression check and a cyclender leakage test

i was runing a po6 before i got my p72 thats the reason for the spark plugs being blacku think if i change em it would make a difference?im still using the same sprak plugs with the p72 , the only code that comes is o2 sensor from exhaust, its straight piping no cat welded headers to exhaust, it really stinks ............when i down shift white smoke comes out and when vtec hits white smoke comes out

No white spark plugs means your running lean. Do a compression check like already said.

Probably it's because you dont have a cat on it. My car blows out a puff of smoke when vtec hits. But it's a dark grey-black color. I have no codes and only my cyl 4 spark plug is carbon fouled. Have no idea why.

That would be blue smoke. He has white smoke.
Blue=oil
white=coolant
black=unburned gas
(I you burn a lot of oil the smoke can look white, but its really not.)
