i just bought my kid a honda civic ex 93 2 door . she wants it lowered. so what spring do you guys recommend. I dont want a lot of drop like 1-1.5 so the ride is still pretty good. also are the gauge kits on ebay for 25.00 good? and are they pretty simple to install? where do i get a manual for this car. what about the clear tail light and it needs a hood.

For lowering them. Some Eibach spring will do fine. there some more, I cant think of the top of my head, im sure some other will post some.

The gauges on ebay are easy enough. But staying stock is much better I think. (Other HTers will agree)

On the lights, do what you like, expect all clear or altezzas. They dont do much. but if you like them, go for it.

And a hood. Ebay will have some guys selling hoods for cheap. HTers sometimes have some, you have to check classfieds when your out of newb status.

but good luck with the EX. Remember to get some new sturts also. If your going 1.5 drop, some KYB AGX will work good.
