Re: Whistleing noise?
I just put on a full cai and this noise was happening before I put this on....
Its almost like a screeching noise I think its coming from a belt I really don't know
this noise is not consistent.....

If it's the belts slipping you can tighten them. Also they make a belt conditioner that reduces squeaking. You just spray it on the belt while the car is running it works great.

go to any auto store and ask for belt conditioner. Something like this http://www.jcwhitney.com/jcwhitney/p...9&zmap=16544G#
To tighten them there is a tensioner bolt on them. I don't know how to explain it usually i just kinda loosen things up until i see which bolt is holding the tension and then go from there. It's pretty easy to figure out once you start looking at it. It is most likely the alternator, power steering would be noticeable because it would do it mostly when turning especially at slow speeds and I doubt your using ac right.

Re: Whistleing noise?
Depending on how many miles are on the car when the last time it was that the water pump and timing belt was replaced, determines if I would switch those out.
Most of the time, the belts either have an idler pulley (an extra pulley wheel that pushes against the belt to tension it), or are tensioned via being pulled taught by the driven device (such as the alternator being on a pivot joint). Either way, its fairly simple to figure out how to tension the belts, just give a quick look over.

Re: Whistleing noise?
I went to high school with the guy I talked to...and he knows Honda's pretty well.
I haven't had the car long enough to know if the timing belt was replaced. The car has 110k on it, If it gets worse I will get them replaced, but i will tighten the belts first.
Thanks a lot everyone.
