where in the world have all of the ROTAs gone?
i tried to but a set of 15" by 6.5" black rota slipstreams the other day from a web site. they are back ordered for the next month or two. i have tried a lot of other distributors, but they are all out of stock.
i only want the black slipstreams
do any of you know of a place that actually has them in stock, or can somehow get them?
thanks in advance

I got mine from "Subydude". Good guy, great service. I got the wheels in 6 days (Subzeros though). Hope it helps. Also I think he has another site listed as "Wheeldude".

You're entitled to your opinion, no matter how stupid it may be.
Also IMO the flat black Slips are THE uglisest wheel Rota makes.
The finish is cheezy as **** compared to their other finishes. Steel grey, Bronze, Sports Bronze, the polished lips, etc. - all way higher quality than the semi-flat balck they offer.
Remember I sell Rota wheel too, so I've seen the various colors and how they hold up over time. Their flat black = shittiest quality.
Also when compared to the wheel they are knocking off they looks super fakey. I have a set of Spoon SW388 wheels on my hatchback and the finish on the Spoons is way flatter.
You could always reshoot the Slips in a true flat black high temp BBQ grille paint, but then you'd have to touch them up every few months.
Have you even considered any other colors and/or styles?
IMO my favs are Sports Bronze Circuit 8 (also on back order ), Steel Grey Slips, Steel Grey with polished Lip Sub Zeros, Bronze Circuit 10s, Any color Group N (RNR knock offs).

BLAST, Rota, etc. - it's all the same thing really.
How one can be "nicer" than the other is beyond me other than pricing and perhaps yellow stickers on other brands.
I could be totally off, but I'm guessing that the Rota "knock-offs" are probably the same wheel under a different name.

Same with me. I think the place I got mine was called Kiss Motorsports. Shipped me pretty fast too and I couldn't find a reputable site from here that had em for 430 shipped.

The finish on the flik blast's are actually alot duller than the Rota Slips which give it more of the Spoon look.

I agree. They seem to have a nicer finish than Rota slips IMO. Sorry to go off topic, but does anyone know anything about these Blast wheels? Quality?

Re: where in the world have all of the ROTAs gone? (Eyewitness)
So many Rotas are floating around that every time I see slips, I just think Rotas and not Spoon. So Rotas or even Blast-C Same thing.
