Re: where is vehicle speed sensor located (champITR)
iam getting codes 17,41 ,65 vss and oxyegen sensors . Speedo jumps erratically from 0-120 sometimes, but after a bit of driving it will start to read the speed acurately also lights pulsate , not during idle but if i tap the gas over say 1200rpms or so they pulsate haevely but just like the vss after about 10 minutes or so of driving the pulsating stops .any ideas???????

This is what the VSS looks like numbers 7 or 8, located towards the rear of the trans.

Not to be an *** or anything.....
But if you want to do this type of work yourself, I would suggest getting a repair manual.....they are very useful!
They can also help you check whether a sensor is good or not
