Re: where is the trans fluid dipstick
Manual cars dont have dip sticks. if you want to check your tranny fluid you have to take out the fill plug and fill it till it barely comes out the fill plug hole

It's on the passenger side, you'll know what it is because you'll use a 1/2" drive to unscrew it, be advised when tightening it, be gentle the aluminum tranny case cracks easily if you over tighten.

my bad maybe. i have dohc's. and the 17mm right above pass. axle is the check/fill plug. yea the 1/2" rachet plug is lower and when you open it oil will come out. but thats where the c-clip is on the main shaft(?) when you split the tranny. and im pretty sure the last time i ever looked in a manual the first time i touched a tranny said exactly what i said.
just saying what i recall.

i came home from college for the day. and yes. i checked a manual. i am right as i said. the check/fill plug is right beside the passenger axle/cv. its a 17mm on my bseries. don't see why it'd be different for any other honda trans. just change it if you never did before. 10w30 mobil 1 synthetic is what i put in my drag trans. you can buy MTF if you want. civic=1.9 qts; integra=2.3 qts
