Re: where is the Throttle Sensor? (NJHatch)
It is across from the throttle rotor, just remember if you take the tps off to clean it or whatever, you will have to recalibrate it.

I have never found a way to recalibrate it. I have had the problem twice. When the TPS goes bad, the engine will lope up and down repeatedly. like you are stepping on the gas over and over again. As far as i know and have been told, there is nto way to take the TPS off. You have to buy a new Throttle body. A new one at Autozone is quite expensive. A ot of the time, aftermarket ones are cheaper, even the ones with a bigger bore.
They are very easy to change. a coupel vacuum hoses and 4 bolts.

If your TPS is riveted on you need to drill them out and replace them with screws. Calibrate it like this: http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/tps
