Can somebody tell me where this is located? I have a friend that has no heat. I am going to look at her car but don't have a manual. If the cable is broken can I just manually adjust the thing to get her heat? Fan blows fine, just no heat.

fire wall, just behind intake. look where the 2 heater hoses go into the car. one will have a black thing clamped to it. the valve is on that.

Cool thanks, that sounds easy. If the cable is indeed the culprit how do I adjust the valve so the heat turns on? It probably is easy, but I'd like to have an idea before I drive up and it's right in front of me.

if the cable is bad, it is an on off valve. one way is cold othe other is full heat. middle is warm.dont know which way is which.
