Default Where to shop.

I'm gonna buy my suspension set-up. What online stores do you guys recommend for the best prices? I am looking to buy Tokico Blues to go with Ground Control Coilovers. I've searched and searched and of course the prices vary. What places are recommended? Thanks in advance!

1. Don't buy Tokicos - buy KYB

2. A google search would be the best place to start IMO.

Does $250 for all 4 shocks sound like a good deal for 94 civic hatchback shocks? these are the GR2's

so I should be looking at the adjustable gas shocks? Damn, that's a whole lot more than other shocks. Any alternatives other than KYB that offer good quality. I'm gonna be using it on a daily driver.

Tokico Blues and KYB GR-2 are little better than a stock replacement.

Ideally you could opt for the KYB AGX to go with GC coil-over sleeves.

I was thinking that but the AGX's cost so much more. Contemplating if I need to spend thta much for a daily driven car. The track here in hawaii closed down so also no drag racing or anything. Strictly for the streets.

Well if I recall correctly Hawaii's roads aren't fantastic, so the shocks being able to better control mthe stiffer springs rates will also lend them, selves to much better daily driven road handling/ride quality too.

GC's are stiffer than stock considerably - the ride might be a touch bouncy with either GR-2 or Tokico Blues, but the AGX's would be a much better match.

No.

AGXs are the cheap alternative to the likes of Koni Yellows, etc.

when it comes to suspension, you usually get what you pay for. to answer your question, i bought my tein setup from inlinefour.com and my bushing set from nipponpower.com. if i were you man i would save up a little more and go with the koni's or at least the AGX's and find a good spring setup for your use. you will thank yourself later.

If you're not going to be racing, the difference between them on the real road gets smaller and smaller.

As far as places to shop. Ebay (NAME BRANDS not ebay stores for ebay knock-off brand, you can actually buy real, legit, actual, brands on ebay, new) has pretty decent prices.

Just look around google, and H-T's sponsor sites (in the market place). Usually you'll find pretty good deals there.
