when we did the HIDs on my bro's RSX-S we just shoved the ballasts and transformer boxes on the sides of the strut towers...they don't need to be protceted or anything. they're pretty durable and, unless you get water under your hood all the time, they should do fine wherever you put them

I sanded down the front of both strut towers, sanded the ballasts and applied epoxy to the two. They have been on there for a year and a half. They are not going anywhere.

The only downside is that I can't take them off.

Off Topic but has anyone found a solution to keeping our highbeams?

There is an H4 HID system that utilizes a motor and moves a reflector around so the light shines as a high-beam.

Yeah but would that system work with the reflector pattern of our car?

I would think that the low light would still kill all of the other drivers.

Hella makes a dual beam HID kit, which has a little flip that flips down when the high beam feature is engaged. this allows the light to scatter up more.

I would want to see it in a car that was not designed for HID before I purchased it. Right now I am back to the old Halogens while I try to find a solution.
