Default Where to get manual transmission parts besides a junkyard?

Hey,
I want to do a auto to manual swap, but don't have the time to go to junkyards and such to pick out parts that I need because of a new job I started...can you get the set online anywhere or something? Like a package kind of deal? Also, if anybody knows, what places in Central New Jersey can do a swap like this? Can you just walk into a Honda dealer and ask them to put it in, or does it have to be some kinda shop somewhere? Sorry for all the questions...my auto is starting to act up and instead of replacing the tranny with another auto, I was just going to swap the transmission with another one.

If you but the stuff online and may ended up costn you more. Lately, I've been looking for some used to stuff and was suprise how much of the majority of the stuff I needed if I could have just gone to a u-pull-it auto salvage yard.

You can check online at: http://www.copartfinder.com It used to be free, now I think they require a subscription fee.

Junkyards nowadays are better inventoried than many auto parts stores. It doesn't take a long time to "find" parts at a junkyard. Most junkyards nowadays won't even let you in the yard. They tell you wether they have it or not and pull it for you if it isn't already on a shelf. If you're gonna have a shop do it, they'll be able to get the parts for you. Get quotes from local Honda Swap garages.

I have the complete 5-speed swap, with LS transmission, available as a package. The price is $1500 shipped.

I bought mine off E-bay...it can be kind of nerve wrecking wondering whether or not you'll get your ****, but you can find some deals. I got a whole 5spd trans swap for a d16z6. It came with everything, but the ECU.
