where to get guages

Re: where to get guages (tominos)
I looked on ebay and not much there. Does anyone know of a shop that sells these online? I like a/f, oil pressure, and voltmeter guages. Do they even make a tripod for the 01-03 civics?

Ummm...Im sure summit or somewhere like that carries AutoMeter Guages. They're not the most accurate by any means, but they're cheap.

This might help you, this is where i got my gauges:
A/F gauge - took it from my friend because he wasnt using it
Oil Gauge - Kragen Autostore
Boost Gauge - H-T
Now thats 3 choices you have to get gauges (from a friend, autostore (you would think), or here.) Have fun.

Hey Ricey, why would you say autometer isnt the most accurate? I know there A/F gauge could be off without a wideband, but what about all the others that you tap into for (like oil pressure into the oil sensor hole). What gauges would you say are more accurate? JW.

I honestly don't know where I remember hearing that, but from the general consensus on here, I've come to the thought process that some of AutoMeter's guages aern't nearly as accurate as the likes of Ormori or something like that. With that said, I run an AutoMeter boost guage and trust it 100%.

Re: where to get guages (typeass)
Do you want to be accurate or cheap?
Accurate = Lamco / Omori / Moon equip
Cheap = Summit Racing generic brand
BTW is really that necessary?

Ok, see on your first post you made it sound like all autometer gauges are off and not accurate. But when you buy a autometer mech. gauge there all tested to make sure there accurate. But i figure some of the electrical gauges could be off. I would change your first post around a little because someone that doesnt read all of the thread would think that all autometer are crap.

Re: where to get guages (zseeanz)
i am using autometer and they seem to be accurate (a/f, oil press) i got mine from Advance auto, but i work there so i got them at a discount. if i'm not mistaken they do make a triple gauge pod, but i don't remember the price. the only problem i had with the gauges is that with like the boost and oil press they sometimes didn't send enough tubing to make it all the way, so you had to buy more. But that was just my experience, i could have ran them wrong.
