where to get carpet?
well I just bought a 92 hatchback yesterday and it has no carpet.. I need to know where I can get carpet, I did a search I didn't get anything out of those threads other than 'buy mine for $xxx' or 'OEM ' I need information a bit more useful than that.. so any good places on the internet to order carpet from? or is getting fucked in the butt by satan the only choice?

be wary of some of the carpet makers out there,
they dont have oem quality fit, and have alot of heavy padding,
they actually advertise for having lots of heavy padding for sound proofing.
i'm sure thats nice for normal folks..
but were EG folk, and dont like weight.
i'd say try and find a used one in good condition,
or if you have the money, just cough up the 3bills for a brand spankin new OEM one from honda.
it would be really nice to have a brand new carpet actually.

I'd prefer new.. I want black carpet and carpet(let alone black carpet) never seems to age well.. especially in a little econo civic.

I wouldn't mind weight too much as I know the padding isn't much and could be removed. finding a used black carpet in really good condition is rare(why would you take it out unless you were stripping your car?), and I'm just not sure I want to go drop a hundreds more than I need to on carpet from satan.. I've only had my car for 2 days and have spent close to $500 on ****, and I still have a paint job to get later this month.. I need to keep my costs down.

I'm lazy.. I'd prefer not to scrape the tar out of the floor of my DX when I can cover it up and make it look normal at the same time. if I feel the need to save weight, I'll start eating at subway or some ****.

It's actually pretty good. Only thing is that I didn't follow there directions like an idiot I was. I was supposed to place the carpet I bought ontop of my old one in a warm area so that the new molded carpet will fall into place. Butttttt, I left it in the garage in the cold.
Here's a pic.

hmm... that presents a slight problem.. I don't have stock carpet.. how did it come out after leaving in the cold garage? I figure all I can do is let it sit in the car for a couple days and just hope it's warm those days
