I've been looking around for a B18C swap for my EG hatch and I can't decide where to get one from. There are a couple here locally but either the price is too high or the miles are too high, or both.

One here has 78k and is selling for $3800 (!!) Is this not too much?

Two others are $2500 each and have a little over 100k (!) on 'em

Do you guys recommend any sites online?? ANY info would be greatly apreciated.

Check out http://www.importautosalvage.com That's who I think I'm going to get my swap motor from, and based on my conversation with them on the phone, I think they seem to know what the hell they are talking about. Plus they will send you everything you need for the swap (wiring harness if needed, etc.) not just an engine and transmission. Good luck! I'm looking forward to the day when I actually make enough money to buy a B series engine myself.

Yeah I've heard alot of good about importautosalvage.com. They definetly have nice swaps. Comes with low miles and everything you need. Once I get enough money for a swap....probably in a year and a half....I'm most likely getting one from them.

import auto salvage is a great place. they know what they are talking about and Larry Jr. will hook you up with everything that you need. I got my motor from them and some of the sensors got crushed when it was shipped. Larry overnighted them to me without any questions asked. They have been around for a long time and everyone has only good stuff to say about them. Ask for larry jr and he'll sit on the phone with you and answer questions if you have them.

honda motors online is located near my house and i have never bought anything from them but they didn't seem to be that professional to me when i called them a few times. i have heard of a few problems with them from other people.
