my leaks rarely... but when it does, it comes through the hole in the plastic where the rear drivers side seat belt is.
my car has to be parked up hill, though.
edit - grammar

Re: (JUN EK9)
what's up spence!
I've read that water gets in the passenger side footwell on 92-93s cause an improperly sealed windshield. I had that problem in my old hatch(92) but not in this one (94). I think it was a recall or serrvice bulletin or whatever.

my hatch leaks in the trunk. i think it's the driver side taillight - in need of some silicone, but whatever it is, water gets in there (when it's wet outside) like no tomorrow.
my spare and tools are all rusted to **** now.

WTF!?
Why is this even a topic? Who cares where everyones hatch leeks at?
This isn't even a tech question. Buy some silicone and quit wasting
space.

Re: (matt_sb2000)
My hatch leaks from the following places:
A) The passenger firewall side
B) The Driver Rear taillight area, I guess....
C) Where the rear spoiler bolts onto the car there is a grommet missing.
Leaks add character to a car, and a great conversation piece.

Hey spencedogg, on honda-tech we don't talk to each other like that, and
in the civic tech forum we like to keep it tech related. This
is a dumb thread, if people want to post in it then that is there deal, but
when you go bumping it up and bringing good topics down I take it
personally.
As for a Honda defect, thats like saying we need threads about everything
that is wrong with our 10 year old cars. Maybe I should through out some
ideas so you can make a few more worthless threads.
Future ideas for spencedogg:
Where does your hatch squeak?
When did you need new axles?
When did you need new struts?
All Honda "defects", things that happen most commonly on our 5th gen
Civics. Your car is old and its not going to be like a new car. There is
nothing you can do about it besides fix the problems as they come along.
And this was not even close to a "how to fix my leak" thread. Do you
want everyone on the board to tell you where there car leaks at?......Thats
what I thought, so no need to bump your worthless thread.
